About LaGrange

LaGrange, with a current population of 25,998, was first incorporated in 1828. The city of LaGrange was also named the county seat of Troup by the same act of the Georgia Legislature.

Today, LaGrange, is noted for its lovely Colonial homes, chief among them being "Bellevue," the home of the late United States Senator Benjamin Harvey Hill, an eloquent Georgia orator.
